Where Learning to Teach Happens on Your Schedule
Teaching is an important part of every clinician's life. Now you can get better at it--on your schedule. We have created an online library of short, visually stunning webinars to improve your clinical teaching skills. Watch some or watch them all—always at a time that works best for you. The choice is yours!
Hello and welcome! I'm a board-certified physician who started practice as a Hospitalist in 2007. My passion for improving medical education began during my chief residency year at Tulane in New Orleans, Louisiana. Thereafter, I began developing curricula for Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Collaborative Inpatient Medicine Service at Johns Hopkins Bayview.
In 2011, I joined the faculty at the University of Kansas Medical Center where I began developing and teaching the Doctors as Educators Faculty Development Series. As that course grew, I found more and more clinicians reaching out to me asking me to come teach the course at a time that worked better for their busy clinical schedules....often early-morning or late-evening. This online course is the answer to that request!
To all the busy clinicians out there: you really can make a difference through your teaching! With The Medical Educator, I hope to give you the tools you need to do it more effectively and efficiently on your schedule! Enjoy!
